HCC Vineyard, also known as Huntsville Community Church, is now in a new location. Located at 1215 Sam Houston Avenue in Downtown Huntsville, we now occupy the historic Avon Theater/McAdams Dry Goods Store buildings between 12th and 13th Streets.  We are a growing community of seekers and disciples. We love the people and environs of Huntsville and feel privileged to serve here.
We are  in fellowship with The Vineyard Community of Churches, an international church planting movement with roots in the Jesus People Movement of the 1960′s. You can learn more about our shared values and priorities elsewhere on this website. While each Vineyard church shares these values and priorities, the particulars of each individual church are as varied as the communities they serve. HCC is home to a highly creative community of artists and art appreciators, writers and readers, filmmakers and film watchers, musicians and music lovers. We didn’t plan it this way, but God did.
Above all else we are disciples. We believe we must be intentional in following Christ and therefore are not willing to leave the process to chance. We also see our highest calling as that of loving, worshipful service. We believe that the way to love God and serve him is to love and serve others. This is a life of worship.
We’re a young church, having only started eight years ago, so we don’t have a long tradition, nor do we have entrenched parishioners.  Everyone is welcome here. Everyone gets to play! We invite you to join us on a Sunday morning and offer up songs of praise, or just sit and listen. The dress code is casual; the atmosphere is relaxed. Worship begins at 10:30. Or come a little early and enjoy a cup of hot coffee in a relaxed atmosphere. Another point of entry is our Small Groups which meet throughout the week. You can get more information about Small Groups, like where they meet and what they’re up to here on our website.  We sure hope to see you soon.
